Dorling Kindersley, the publisher of many books, have recently released some details about their upcoming second edition of Doctor Who: The Visual Dictionary. The first edition went on sale in May last year and this second edition will provide more information about the characters, aliens, gadgets and planets that feature in Doctor Who. This book is scheduled for release on the twentieth of April and it will go on sale at an RRP of £14.99. It will consist of one hundred of twelve pages and the authors of the book will be; Andrew Darling and Jacqueline Rayner. new K.9 picture
Bob Baker has recently uploaded a new promotional image for K9, the upcoming show in which he has written, onto his official website. The promotional image features the newly designed K9 and three people who are speculated to be the actors that will play the show's main characters. The main characters are rumoured to be called; Starkey, Jorjie and Darius.K9, the series, will air later this year in Australia and it will hopefully air in the United Kingdom and many other countries at a later date. More information about this programme, it's transmission dates and cast will be posted here on this site as soon as it becomes available.

Jessica Hynes Filming for Doctor Who
Please be aware that this post contains pictures and information which could be classed as spoilers. Jessica Hynes who previously appeared as Joan Redfern in the Doctor Who series three episodes, Human Nature and The Family of Blood, was recently spotted filming the third Doctor Who 2009 special. Jessica Hynes plays a woman called Verity Newman in the episode, who is signing copies of her book, A Journal of Impossible Things. When The Doctor made himself human, he wrote about the dreams he had of travelling through time and space in a book which he also called A Journal of Impossible Things.
new planet of the dead
The BBC Press Office have now revealed that the upcoming Doctor Who Easter Special, Planet of the Dead, will be broadcast on Saturday the 11th of April. Along with the air date, the BBC have also released the official synopsis for the episode. But the mysterious planet holds terrifying secrets, hidden in the sand. And time is running out, as the deadly Swarm gets closer. Planet Of The Dead features David Tennant as the Doctor, Michelle Ryan as Lady Christina and Lee Evans as Malcolm. It is written by Russell T Davies and Gareth Roberts.
